She is seeking her fourth title in this year’s contest, which takes place in her hometown. Quigley is one of three players in the WNBA and NBA to win the contest three times. A victory on Saturday would make her the only professional basketball player, male or female, to win four.
The legendary sharpshooter has knocked down 487 three-pointers, averaging 39.5% from behind the arc.
Allie Quigley will be accompanied by first-time contestants Kelsey Plum (Las Vegas Aces), Rhyne Howard (Atlanta Dream), Ariel Atkins (Washington Mystics), and Arike Ogunbowalewill (Dallas Wings) in this year's competition. Jewell Loyd of the Seattle Storm competed in the contest in 2018 and 2021.
The contest begins on Saturday, July 9 at 2 PM CT. This event is not open to fans but will take place in front of an audience of competitors from the Nike Tournament of Champions and Nike Girls Nationals.
