Adam Engel

The Chicago White Sox have brought Adam Engel back up to the majors after his rehab stint in Charlotte. Engel has not appeared in a game for the Chicago White Sox this season after battling a hamstring injury.

Engel appeared in seven games for the Triple-A Charlotte Knights on his rehab assignment. He slashed .286/.300/.464. Engel hit one home run and drove in three runs. Though many look at Adam Engel has the best possible fourth outfielder on a major league club, he will step right in and likely be the everyday center fielder until Luis Robert returns.

Fan favorite outfielder Billy Hamilton is headed to the 10-day IL with an oblique strain. Billy has provided the Sox and their fans with some exciting moments so far this season. Over his last 10 games, Hamilton has slashed .250/.280/.583 while hitting two home runs, driving in five, and scoring five runs.
