Per Jeff Passan of ESPN, Luis Robert and the White Sox have agreed to a six-year contract extension. The initial details of the deal can be found in the tweet below:

Like they did with Eloy Jimenez prior to the 2019 season, the White Sox signing Robert to an extension now will eliminate any service time manipulation that would have kept him in the minor leagues for a few weeks to begin the 2020 season.

This move, in addition to the various offseason free-agent signings, further signals that the White Sox mean business in 2020. Having Robert on the big league roster starting on Opening Day eliminates a question mark in center field, as the highly-touted prospect will be manning the middle of the outfield on March 26th at 35th and Shields barring any injuries.
