To say the South Side faithful is infuriated with the state of the 2022 Chicago White Sox would be an understatement. On Saturday night, a few fans made it evidently clear by hoisting a sign that read "SELL THE TEAM."

A season that began with high hopes has spiraled into a mess. The White Sox have underperformed since mid-April, resulting in a significant amount of ire from their passionate fan base.

Sox' fans have rained down boos at Guaranteed Rate Field on a regular basis, as was the case after Friday's 7-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. The South Siders have lost eight of their last 10 games, the latest of which sunk them back below .500.
