Chicago White Sox centerfielder Luis Robert likely won’t play until after the All-Star break. According to manager Tony La Russa, Robert still wasn’t feeling right before Saturday’s game at Minnesota. Robert exited Friday night's game after the first inning due to "lightheadedness." La Russa said it was unlikely that Robert would play Sunday as well.

Adam Engel stepped in admirably for Robert. Engel’s three-run homer in the top of the seventh helped the White Sox (45-45) cruise to a 6-2 win over the Twins (49-43) Friday and move within three games of the division leaders.

Prior to his absence, Luis Robert had been on fire offensively, going 9-for-13 with three runs scored and eight RBIs in his previous three starts. Coincidentally, the Chicago White Sox won all three of those games by a combined score of 19-3.

Additionally, La Russa said left fielder Eloy Jimenez has a better chance of seeing action over the last two games of the series than Robert. Jimenez has sat out the first two games of the series with tightness in his leg. He could potentially see action as a pinch-hitter.
