White Sox vs. Rays preview

The Chicago White Sox (41-24) will be entering a three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays (42-24) on Monday. These are the two best teams in the American League as of today. The Chicago White Sox are headed back to Guaranteed Rate Field after sweeping the Detroit Tigers in Detroit. The Rays are headed to the south side after sweeping the Baltimore Orioles over the weekend as well.

The Chicago White Sox are clicking on all cylinders right now despite a number of injuries to key players. The Sox are 8-2 in their last ten games and now they meet a very difficult opponent in the Tampa Bay Rays. The Rays currently hold the best record in all of Major League Baseball. The Rays are 7-3 in their last ten games and still seem to be on a roll after winning the American League in 2020's shortened season.

This series will surely be quite the battle to watch. The White Sox and Rays are atop their respective divisions and have been a model of winning consistency all year. The first matchup that will take place on Monday, June 14 will be a CANNOT miss game. Lance Lynn takes on Tyler Glasnow. These are arguably two of the top pitchers in the sport right now. This series has all the makings of a heavyweight title fight and fans are here for it. Let's get into the nitty gritty.
