It appears the Sox may have their man in Tim Anderson, as he was named AL player of the month for March/April.

The Chicago White Sox are a team desperately searching for a face of their franchise. Jose Abreu is exiting his prime, Yoan Moncada is still fresh and Carlos Rodon can't stay off the disabled, excuse me, injured list. It appears they may have their man in Tim Anderson, as he was named AL player of the month for March/April.

The past few months have been rough for the White Sox. They missed on Manny Machado. Eloy Jimenez got injured. Carlos Rodon just hit the injured list as well. They sit at 13-15 as of Thursday afternoon. Thank goodness for something to actually feel good about.

Anderson is slashing .365/.383/.587 with 6 HR and 18 RBI. He has helped solidify a batting order where the team's most reliable player, Jose Abreu, struggled early. He's truly been nothing short of incredible.

Anderson has put himself on the national map with his exuberant bat flipping, but he backs his talk up with his stick. Anderson is the first White Sox player to earn this honor since Jose Abreu in 2014.

For the Sox to have success, they'll need Anderson to keep this play up. Fortunately, the Sox are more than okay with his exuberant play and personality. Maybe, he can return the favor and take the Sox to the promised land in the coming years.
