Chicago White Sox third baseman, Jake Burger, has been a much-needed force in the lineup over the past few weeks. Burger made the White Sox roster out of Spring Training to start the 2022 season.
But the 26-year-old former first-round draft pick was at one point sent back down to Triple-A Charlotte this season.
The White Sox recalled Jake Burger to the big league club just three weeks ago.
Despite only appearing in 38 of the 61 games the Sox have played this season, he currently sits in second place amongst White Sox hitters in home runs with eight.
He trails only Jose Abreu, who overtook Jake's spot atop the leaderboard, with a two-home run performance on Tuesday.

Burger's bat has so far been one of the main power forces in the White Sox lineup. While the rookie was hit by a pitch in Detroit and suffered a hand injury, it looks like at this time he will avoid an IL stint.
That should give the rookie a decent shot at getting back into the lineup. He'll soon enough have a chance to reclaim his spot as the White Sox home run leader. That is unless Jose Abreu has something to say about it.
