Cleveland Indians reliever James Karinchak has some absolutely nasty stuff. On Friday night, he worked a clean inning with two strikeouts against the Chicago White Sox.

However, a few folks on Twitter noticed some interesting behavior from the right-hander. Let's take a look at the footage:

Throughout his career, Karinchak has endured some command issues that recently seem to be solved, evidenced by his spotless ERA and impressive 21 strikeouts in 9.2 innings over 11 appearances in 2021. What made this situation even more suspicious was the awkward mound visit during the eighth inning that led to an embrace and some laughter between Karinchak and catcher Roberto Perez before the commercial break.
