White Sox Announce Parking Policy for the Playoffs

The White Sox have introduced a new parking system for the playoffs. All parking will require a parking pass bought in advance of the game.

Just as the start time for the ALDS games between the White Sox and Astros were announced, the Sox also announced a new parking policy for the playoffs. Its not great either...

Parking passes can only be purchased in advance. They also raised the price to $45 per vehicle. The only places accepting day of game parking purchases are overflow lots that haven't been established yet.

Bad Move

This is an utter travesty brought on by the Sox. Doubling parking for fans who are already shelling out loads of cash to even get in the park isn't a great idea. While the CTA Redline and the Metra Rock Island line are steps from the park, it still may not be the best option for all fans. For those that know people in Bridgeport, be sure to reach out for guest parking stickers. It will be an additional hurdle for Sox fans buying last minute tickets while figuring out a spot to park.
