The Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians will not play for the second consecutive day due to inclement weather. The Guardians announced that Tuesday's postponed game will now become the first contest of a traditional doubleheader at 1:10 PM CT on Wednesday.

A mix of rain and snow derailed the first White Sox vs. Guardians matchup of the season originally scheduled for Monday. That game will become the first contest of a split doubleheader on July 12.

With Tuesday's postponement resulting in a Wednesday doubleheader, each team will be able to carry a 29th player on the roster for the twin bill. The White Sox will call upon outfielder Adam Haseley to fill that spot. In 10 games at Triple-A Charlotte this season, Haseley has a .211/.302/.237 slash line with one double, two RBIs, and four walks.
