Prior to their series finale on Sunday against the Texas Rangers, the Chicago White Sox have made a roster move. The White Sox are calling up infielder Lenyn Sosa. Left-handed pitcher Tanner Banks has been optioned to Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move.

Lenyn Sosa saw his first big-league action with the White Sox earlier this season. After the injury bug bit Danny Mendick, Sosa received the call straight from Double-A Birmingham. The 22-year-old made his MLB debut on June 23 against the Baltimore Orioles and made his first big league start the following day. He only appeared in four games before being sent down to Triple-A Charlotte upon Yoan Moncada's return from injury.

Tanner Banks has been fairly serviceable in the Chicago White Sox bullpen this season. He owns a 3.16 ERA over 42.2 innings with 36 strikeouts. The lefty struggled in his appearance on Saturday against the Texas Rangers, pitching two innings and giving up four runs, two of which were unearned.
