White Sox Reportedly Sign RHP Connor Sadzeck

The White Sox add an arm for the future.

According to Casey Boguslaw on Twitter, the White Sox have signed former Texas Ranger and Seattle Mariner, RHP Connor Sadzeck to a two-year deal.

Sadzeck has undergone Tommy John surgery twice and will not play in 2020, but this is a bullpen move going forward for the White Sox. In 23.2 innings, the 28-year-old from Crystal Lake, Illinois featured a slider on 51.2% of his pitches. His fastball averages around 96 MPH. He seems to have plus stuff, but needs to stay healthy. This move is a low risk, high reward-type move Rick Hahn is prone to do in order to revamp the bullpen.
