White Sox Retroactively Add Keuchel to IL, Promote López

Keuchel has been a huge addition to the White Sox pitching staff, his absence will be missed as the White Sox head into the playoffs.

The White Sox announced that Dallas Keuchel will be sent to the Injured List, retroactive to September 7. This means he will be eligible to return next Thursday.

Keuchel exited Sunday’s game against the Kansas City Royals with back spasms. Reynaldo López will take his spot on the pitching staff for the next week. The White Sox certainly hope that Keuchel heals in time for his next start and for the playoffs.
