White Sox Select Kade Mechals with 112th Overall Pick

With the 112th overall pick in the 2020 draft, the Chicago White Sox have selected RHP Kade Mechals.

With the 112th overall pick in the 2020 draft, the Chicago White Sox have selected Kade Mechals.

Mechals is a 5-foot-11, 185 lb RHP out of Grand Canyon University. Between his time at Western Oregon and Grand Canyon, Mechals posted a 14-3 record, 2.08 ERA, 1.033 WHIP, and 10.8 K/9 over 129.2 innings in 34 games.
