The Chicago White Sox made a flurry of signings over the weekend, bringing in Joe Kelly, Josh Harrison, and Vince Velasquez. Now, Rick Hahn has added undrafted free agent Vince Vannelle to the White Sox system.

Vannelle previously pitched for the University of Arizona. During his tenure there, he was an NCBWA Second Team All-American and Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention. The right-hander recorded a 5-3 record with eight saves and a 2.78 ERA in 26 bullpen appearances during his senior season. He finished with 12 career saves, which ranks ninth in Arizona program history.

Vince Vannelle is another young arm that Rick Hahn seems to have an affinity for. Only time will tell if he will develop into a Michael Kopech, Garrett Crochet, or Jared Kelly type. The Chicago White Sox have not specified what level Vannelle will start at.
