White Sox Sign Zach Putnam
Per Bruce Levine, the Sox have signed RHP Zach Putnam to a minor-league deal.
Putnam last saw MLB action in 2017 for the White Sox, a season in which he only threw 8.2 innings. He put together a strong three-year stretch with the White Sox and was a formidable arm out of the bullpen, but injury issues have hampered him in recent years. If healthy, he could be a sleeper for the White Sox this season, so keep an eye on him.
