Tim Anderson Expected to Return to White Sox Monday
The Chicago White Sox will get their catalyst back in the mix shortly. Manager Tony La Russa said the club expects shortsop Tim Anderson to return to action Monday when the Sox host the Blue Jays.
Anderson suffered a right groin strain in a game on May 29. A couple of days later, that ailment landed him on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to May 30).
The 28-year-old began a rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte on Tuesday. Anderson has recorded four hits in 11 plate appearances across three games for the Knights.

In 40 games for the Chicago White Sox before the injury, Tim Anderson logged a .356/.503/.896 slash line with five home runs and 19 RBIs. Needless to say, the South Siders will be more than happy to have his consistent bat back in the lineup.
