The Chicago White Sox and New York Yankees will have to wait to play the first contest of a three-game weekend series. The Yankees announced that Friday's game has been postponed due to inclement weather.

The American League foes will make up the contest on Sunday at 2:05 PM CT. The makeup game will be the first of a split doubleheader with the series finale beginning no earlier than 6:05 PM CT.

The New York Yankees have the White Sox number so far this season. Last weekend on the South Side, the Bronx Bombers took three of four games in dominating fashion. Entering play Friday, New York holds the best record in baseball at 28-10.
