As the Chicago White Sox get ready for the second game of their three-game series with the Tampa Bay Rays, they'll have to go without another big bat in the lineup.

Starting third baseman Yoan Moncada has been listed as day-to-day due to a sinus infection and illness. This caused him to miss the opening game of the series on Monday as well.

Moncada has played in 62 of the White Sox 66 games entering Tuesday night's matchup at Guaranteed Rate Field. The Cuban-born switch hitter has put together more professional at-bats as of late, sporting a .280 average with five home runs and 32 runs driven in prior to his absence.

Taking his place for now will be veteran utility man Leury Garcia, who has shown some productivity at the plate as he continues to play all around the diamond to aid the club's multiple voids. While the loss of Moncada will be short, the revolving door of Sox players becoming unavailable is starting to mount legitimate roster concerns.
