During Double or Nothing this past weekend, AEW announced a surprising signee during the show. The new signee was none other than The World's Strongest Man Mark Henry! He is stepping in to work on several different avenues within the company. Those different jobs will be coach, scout, mentor, and expert analyst.

When AEW Rampage starts on August 13, Henry will be stepping in as the expert analyst on commentary for the show. That said, Tony Khan also announced there will be a second person in the booth with him that is currently on the roster.

As a coach, Henry brings 25 years of experience in professional wrestling with him to AEW. He will be able to step right in and help develop some of the younger talents. Most of the roster needs some more work on their television presence, and Henry is the perfect mentor for such skillset. He can also help develop talent that needs more work before they appear on any type of taped show.

As a scout, he will help find talent to bring into the company. Some of the names he has found while scouting for WWE were Bianca Belair, Brawn Strowman, Apollo Crews, and even current AEW Star Jade Cargill. Given the list of names he's discovered, it's easy to see why he's a scout, as he has found some very valuable wrestlers over the last few years. Some of those names were even outside the world of professional wrestling.
