The youth of All Elite Wrestling's roster continues to grow, this time through the signing of Daniel Garcia. In just over a year's time, Garcia has made a major impact within the company. He first made an appearance with the company back in September 2020 in a few tag team matches. He then appeared a few more times over the next year, but this last month in AEW has been massive for him.
The first major match he had was in August 2021 when he teamed up with 2point0 to take on the trio of Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, and Darby Allin. From there, his resume in AEW continued to grow. He proceeded to have a few singles matches against some of the aforementioned names as well. His biggest singles match took place two weeks ago on October 6 against CM Punk.
Before signing with AEW, Garcia was making a name for himself on the independent scene for the first four years of his career. Now he's on a major platform to show the world what he has, which is crucial for his development. Garcia was able to build his name through so many different promotions including WWE, NJPW, and many more. But now he can officially call AEW home. He earned his spot facing by showing out while facing some of the top names in wrestling.
Garcia seems happy to be with AEW, as he said it feels right to him. This is just another boost to the growing younger side of AEW's roster. What will Daniel Garcia have in store for us next? Many AEW fans want to see a match against Bryan Danielson. Could that happen soon? Only time will tell.
