Predictions: AEW Revolution 2021

Predictions for each match of AEW Revolution 2021. The event will be full of action, drama, and surprises!

AEW is looking to outdo last year's show. This show from top to bottom in both matches and stories could be the new top show for this company. That said, it is time to get ready for Sunday's show with some predictions. Also, we have a few surprises in store for us. What will those be? Tune in to the show and we will all find out together!

Buy-In Match: Riho & Thunder Rosa vs. Dr. Britt Baker, DMD., & Rebel

This matchup is set to take place on the "pre-show" but do not let that fool you. It keeps being mentioned that Rebel might not be medically cleared for this match. Therefore, Britt would be able to pick a new partner. The night of surprises starts here, with a new signee being Britt’s partner. This match will set the tone for the early part of the show and it will be a great contest.

Winners: Dr. Britt Baker & TBA

AEW World Tag Team Championship: The Inner Circle (MJF & Chris Jericho) vs. The Young Bucks (C)

Earlier this week, Tony Khan announced that this match will open the main show. With that being said, it only makes it that much harder to pick who will win this one. However, the champions should still be able to come out on top. This thought is all due to their years of experience and due to there being a rat inside The Inner Circle. Many things that MJF is there to take over the group, rather it is all a plan to break them up.

Winners: The Young Bucks

"Big Money Match": Adam Page vs. Matt Hardy

The winner of this one walks away with the loser's 2021 first-quarter earnings. So, this seems to be in the favor of Hardy with all the help he has received over the last few weeks. Page was the one that tricked Hardy into this match. Will he have another trick up his sleeve to win? This should an easy matchup for the Hangman!

Winner: "Hangman" Adam Page

Street Fight: Brian Cage & Ricky Starks vs. Darby Allin & Sting

No one ever really expected Sting to be able to get back into a wrestling ring. Well, here we are in 2021 and he will be in a tag team street fight. He has the perfect partner in the TNT Champion Darby Allin, who never gives up and will fight through everything. But, they are walking into two very dangerous and talented wrestlers and are overpowered in this one. The story of these two teams comes to a close on Sunday.

Winners: Sting & Darby Allin

This contest should be a heavy-hitting one. Shida is walking into this one as the longest-reigning champion ever in AEW, but there is an issue, she has never beat Ryo Mizunami. She just finished up winning the Women's Eliminator Tournament, meaning this will be a tough one for Shida to pull off. Now is the time for the face of the AEW Women's division to take off to another level by beating someone she never has.

Winner: Hikaru Shida

Face of the Revolution Ladder Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Scorpio Sky vs. Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Lance Archer vs. Max Caster vs. TBA

This could be the toughest match to predict. The winner will be receiving a TNT Championship match on the next episode of AEW Dynamite. The first question going into this one is who will be the sixth competitor? Will it be a returning star or will it be a new signee? Better yet, it could be someone coming through that forbidden door they have now. The favorite has to be the former two-time TNT Champion Cody Rhodes. That said, the wrestler with the best odds will be the surprise entrant because they know who is involved and everyone else does not.

Winner: TBA

Miro & Kip Sabian vs. Chuck Taylor & Orange Cassidy

This is another feud that appears to be coming to an end. Sadly this one should be a quick and painless match. The team of Kip and Miro should take care of business easily. Miro should be moved on to bigger and better things after this one. Do not be surprised to see Miro attack Kip after this one no matter the outcome.

Winners: Miro & Kip Sabian

The winner will receive a future match at the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Nearly every team is deserving of that chance. The storylines that get to continue during this match will be great as well, it also seems like we could get a surprise entry into this match. Keep an eye on what happens in the earlier match for the tag teams because that could tell what happens here. The group with the best chance to win in this one will be The Dark Order, as they walk into this one with two separate tag teams involved. But, that does not guarantee a win for them because of the talent of the other teams.

Winners: Death Triangle (PAC & Rey Fenix)

AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega (C)

Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch! Someone is going to get extremely hurt in this contest. Over the last year, this feud has become more and more violent and for Moxley, it will take everything he has to defeat Omega. This match will not be easy in the eyes of everyone but just be ready for it. Don't forget about some outside help that the Champion could end up getting.

Winner: Kenny Omega
