Back in August 2019, the legendary announcer Tony Schiavone signed on with All Elite Wrestling. In doing so, he made his return to TNT network that same year for the first time since being with WCW. He originally made his return to pro wrestling in 2017 for MLW after taking 14 years off from the industry. However, since joining AEW he has worked the commentary booth, interviews, and within the production team.

Now, over two years into this run he looks to have found a new home for the foreseeable future. Schiavone announced on his most recent podcast episode of “What Happened When”, that his contact extension was picked up. This will keep him with AEW through 2024.

There will be at least two more years of the great Tony Schiavone on your TV screen. His appearances will likely be on TBS only, but Schiavone is here to stay with the All Elite brand.
